So after about four game sessions since July, I have decided to scrap the game we were playing and start anew. This is for a few reasons I can explain later if you want. The short version is that it was getting difficult to create something for everyone and no one seemed to be headed where I was.
We now have a crew that knows what is ahead for the most part and how to get there. We are still using the same setting and locations as the back drop. It is the same time on the time line. The previous PC’s do exist and are still running around doing what they were when we left them. Basically, everything you have learned about this place and everything you know and have done still exists.

Congratulations! We successfully, as players, completed our first night of play, although the characters may not exactly think it was successful. Never fear, I have all sorts of contingencies for what is currently happening to the party. Next session will see us wrapping up Episode 01 and moving on to Episode 02.
There are a couple of points I would like to make before we get too far into our campaign. Firstly, I will most likely make updates to the wiki with some possibly pertinent information for in-game. And on this very page as a news section about the game as players. If you want to stay up on the current information available just check here on Thursday. I hope to have added everything player related before then for the up coming session. I will attempt to make a link here of pages I have added so it will be easier for you to know what is new.
One thing I have done is make the first entry into the Adventure Log. Please feel free to add your comments or to make your own entry. I am not going to do it every time so don’t expect it from me. What would be really cool is if one of you decided to keep a post of the current state of the game going there. Or taking turns between the group.
Lastly, this is just as much for you all as it is for me to keep track of what is going on. I urge you to keep notes on NPCs you meet, places you go to, etc., so that the information is accessible. It is very simple to do here. If you have any trouble just ask and I will be happy to show you how to modify the pages here for your own needs.

Last night we made characters. Now I need you to e-mail me your back stories for me to look over and ask more questions about. There is a Cortex 3.0 character sheet if you click on the Characters tab. You can most likely fill out your backstory there if you so choose. Please take the time to read over the information contained within the Wiki as it contains a lot of useful information about things that is available to your characters but is too time consuming to spend game time to relay. Basically, if you read this then it will be as if your character listens to the news, paid attention in class in school, and basically gives a damn about his/her surroundings. If you choose to not read this information, it is not going to be covered in game.

It’s a new game, and a new system. I hope you are ready for this.
So far what I am thinking for the setting is something along the lines of a Star Wars sized universe with a Steampunk/Firefly feel.
